Each year St. Petersburg Opera Guild, in conjunction with St. Petersburg Opera, holds a high school competition, with financial scholarships awarded to the talented winners.

Our 2021 Vocal Competition is sure to be extra special as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary. of encouraging young talent in Florida through vocal competitions.

Submit your application as soon as possible. Final deadline for submission is February 8, 2021.

Adjudicators were Melodie Dickson, Stephanie McCranie and David Lawhead.  Accompanists were Teresa Ancaya and Analyn Bailey. Linda Switzer is Chairman of the event. Cash prizes of $750, $500 and $400 awarded.
