Sarah Wilke
“I am Sarah Wilke, a 16-year-old junior in high school. I have been taking lessons with Melody Aristo for four years now. She has shaped me into who I am today and will continue to help me improve as much as possible.
For the past two years, I have received superiors for my vocal solos and duets at the FVA and state competitions. I am also a part of my high school drama department at Indian Rocks Christian and have had the opportunity to star as Laurey in Oklahoma my sophomore year and Ariel in The Little Mermaid this year as a junior.
I have always been drawn to opera since I was a little girl. Growing up, it was my dream to become an opera singer. Knowing that I am pursuing my dream and plan to make it my reality is surreal. I am honored to have received third place in this year’s St. Pete Opera Guild’s competition. All glory to God.”
