Soprano Kaia Owens, is 17 years old and attends Tampa Preparatory School as a Junior. She studies voice with Dr. Jon Bassett from Florida College. Kaia enjoys singing in her school chamber choir and has performed with various choirs including the Lumina Youth Choirs and the Florida All-State Choir. In February 2021, she won 2nd place in the St. Pete Opera Guild’s High School Vocal Competition. This past summer, Kaia participated in vocal workshops with the Metropolitan Opera Guild and The Juilliard School. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in vocal performance.
